A day in a second grade teacher's life
The teacher's everyday routine and experiences - She wakes up at six in the morning and begins her morning skincare and minimum makeup routine. She makes a nutritious lunch with a salad and a snack after walking her dog. She holds up her water bottle as a reminder of how vital it is to stay hydrated.
She gets up at 6:45 and drives the short distance to school while listening to happy music. She gets to work setting up her classroom, checking emails, and setting up her smart board at around 7 a.m. She adjusts the seating arrangement for the upcoming month on this particular day.
At 7:20 in the morning, her students come, and she starts engaging them in various activities. Prior to a twenty to twenty-five minute lunch break, she teaches math and reading. She frequently brings a protein bar, snacks, and a salad. She did, however, enjoy some chips provided by the school because it was teacher appreciation week on this particular day.
Her shift ends at 2:30, but she occasionally remains longer to set up the classroom. She usually works out after school, but on this particular day, she had a parent-teacher conference, so she went for a lengthy stroll. Later that evening, she gave herself a treat and went to Taco Bell with her partner to unwind before going to bed early. This look into her everyday routine sheds light on the duties and pursuits of a second-grade teacher.
